Wattle Street Vet is a small, independent clinic on the Mornington Peninsula. Dr Alice Rendell and our two nurses look after dogs, cats, rabbits and the occasional chook, and we have been doing it from the same little weatherboard building on Wattle Street for more than twenty-five years.

A short appointment book
We keep our appointment book short on purpose. That way you see the same vet each visit, and nobody is rushed out the door. If your animal is unwell today, ring us in the morning and we will do our best to fit you in the same day.

A fear-free practice
Cats wait in their own quiet room away from the dogs, consults are unhurried, and we are happy to do a first visit as a simple hello with a handful of treats and no examination at all.

Bring any history from your previous vet and we will take it from there.

Dogs, cats, rabbits and the occasional chook.
A standard consult runs for twenty minutes, which is longer than most clinics allow, because most problems take longer than ten minutes to explain.
Puppy preschool runs over four Wednesday evenings, six puppies at a time, with our nurse Bec. Bookings fill quickly, so ring early.
Desexing and routine surgery are done on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Your animal comes in at 8am and goes home the same afternoon.
